ABOUT THE EVENT

After surviving two years of successfully hosting the National Conference on Co-Teaching online, we are expanding the 2022 conference to a hybrid model! Participants will be able to join face to face, on the campus of St. Cloud State University (SCSU, St. Cloud, MN), or virtually. All presentations will be streamed live for those who cannot join us in person.

The 2022 conference will have two presentation strands: Co-Teaching in Student Teaching; and Co-Teaching between Two Licensed Teachers. The conference focus will be on anything and everything Co-Teaching! Presenters will share what they have learned about co-teaching in the face of chaos; How they are using Co-Teaching to assist and support students that might have fallen behind; Technologies they are using to implement co-teaching with fidelity; How they are building relationships with co-teaching partners, and what “best practices” they have developed as they face unparalleled challenges.

The National Conference on Co-Teaching has the goal to provide a full slate of presentations highlighting the research and innovative practices happening across the country. Join us as we bring undergraduate and graduate students, classroom teachers, teacher educators, school personnel, administrators and supervisors together to share their expertise and journeys. Again, you may join either online or face-to-face.

CELEBRATING THE POWER AND POTENTIAL OF CO-TEACHING 

As always, our goal is to provide an outstanding variety of presentations that appeal to both novice and experienced co-teachers, those co-teaching in their student teaching or residency, and those who co-teach with another licensed teacher. We believe you’ll find presentations that strengthen your belief in co-teaching, introduce you to ideas you can implement immediately, provide materials and evidence that will inform your practice(s), and connect you with colleagues to enhance your co-teaching community! 2022 Conference Registration

Registration for the 2022 Conference includes a 1 year membership to National Association for Co-Teaching (NACT). Your membership is generously supported by funds from AACTE’s (American Association of Colleges of Teacher Education) Topical Action Group – Co-Teaching in Clinical Practice. Your membership gives you access to recordings of all conference presentations, upcoming webinars, and the new NACT Co-Teaching Journal launching in 2022.

How do I register for the conference?
Please use the “Register” tab on the conference page and select your appropriate educator level/role. Then complete the registration form online. If you plan to attend the conference in St. Cloud, register for the In-Person option. If you are planning to attend the live-streamed conference sessions, you will register for the Virtual option. Your registration includes a year membership to NACT.
I am a presenter at the conference, what should I do?
Please use the “Register” tab on the conference page and select your appropriate educator level/role. Then complete the registration form online. If you plan to attend the conference in St. Cloud, register for the In-Person option. If you are planning to attend the live-streamed conference sessions, you will register for the Virtual option. This is important to do early so that the conference committee knows whether you are presenting in-person or virtually and can get you information you need.

If I attend the conference virtually, how will I access the conference?
All registered attendees will have access to the live-streamed session starting on the first day of the conference. Please use the “Enter the Conference” button on the conference page of the website to access the conference virtually. You will see the conference schedule with links to all sessions being live-streamed.
Can I share my link with others?
Just like an in-person conference, virtual registrations cannot be shared. The virtual registration provides a secure link for each user.
Can I record any of the live-streamed sessions during the conference?
No individual or entity may electronically record or broadcast any portion of the NCCT annual conference. Unauthorized recording (audio, video, still photography, etc.) of presentations during the sessions, workshops, or discussions is strictly prohibited. In addition, the unauthorized copying, sharing or distribution of NCCT material is also strictly prohibited. Thank you for your cooperation as NCCT provides this online opportunity.
What if I decide that I want to change my registration from virtual to in-person?
The conference committee will help you change your registration to join us in-person in St. Cloud! Please email help@icoteach.com with your request and we work with you.
I registered for only one day, but I want to change which day I plan to attend or I want to change to both days. What should I do?
If you registered to attend for one of the days and wish to either change which day you will attend or if you wish to now attend both days, please email help@icoteach.com.
Will there be an opportunity to chat with speakers?
Select virtual presenters will be available for a brief time after their presentations. In-person presenters will be available after their presentation and times to network throughout the conference.
Will there be opportunities for networking during the conference?
In-person attendees will have multiple networking opportunities throughout the conference including snack/meal times, a social, and scheduled time in the program. Virtual attendees will have opportunities for networking after each session and access to presenter and participant emails.
If I wish to cancel my registration, is there a refund?
If you cancel: before September 1, 2022 you will receive a 50% refund, between September 2 and 28, 2022 you will receive a 25% refund, and if you cancel after September 28, 2022 there will be no refund. To cancel your registration, please email help@icoteach.com.
